lumierecosmetics.comI received a nice little package of Lumiere Cosmetics to try, and so far I am loving the eye makeup!
These eye shadows are fantastic! They're so smooth and just glide across your lid, plus they're long lasting and are so beautifully subtle. I used one swipe, but this photo does NOT do the colors justice.
From left to right:
Halo eye pigment, Dulce de Leche eye pigment, Pink Pearl eye shadow,
Cat's Eye eye shimmer, Honey Brown eye shadow

Cat's Eye eye shimmer, Honey Brown eye shadow
I ran out of UDPP, so I primed the top layer with e.l.f. eye primer.
Cat's Eye eye shimmer was the lightest and least pigmented because it IS a shimmer, but I adore the color. It's a perfect green with a gold sheen, and not too dark for the daytime. And Honey Brown is just delicious! Its a great bronze-gold shadow without being too brown.
To sum it up: I love the eye shadows. I will definitely be purchasing more.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same thing about the lip glosses.
Peach Glaze, Tahitian Coral, Grape Jelly
I tried these on wanting to love them. The colors are beautiful and the gloss is anything but sticky, however, less than an hour after applying the gloss, my lips felt dry and bare. Plus, the scent of these reminds me of a factory. Think: The George Lopez show. One whiff of these and I can imagine this is the smell in his factory. They're not feminine and have a faint metal scent.
With Lumiere, I'm definitely going to stick with eye makeup. I have a sample of perfecting primer that I cannot wait to try!

Thanks for the info! My biggest makeup peeve is eyeshadow that doesn't go on and doesn't last. I usually use Clinique because I need their foundations (sensitive skin), but I know their eyeshadows "work" so get those too. Since I'm none too happy with Clinique at the moment (bad experience at the counter) I'll have to give these a try.

If what you said is true, then don't you think the company has to make some changes about that lip gloss? The quality of a good make-up is measured by how effective it is on different skin types.
But I do love those eye shadows. A little too glittery, but still looks nice.
