The Holidays are Horrible!

Look at what they throw in front of you!

At only $10, the Pixi & Napoleon Perdis sets look sooo tempting, but I have to stay strong. =)

I LOVE this time of year. I love buying presents for other people, but I think I've become too predictable. I always get my sisters makeup or body products, so I think I'm going to change it up this year. Maybe shoes...we all have a shoe addiction.

And yes - I am one of those people that wakes up at 3am on Black Friday. I always have fun shopping that day, but I go by myself. If I take someone else they'll just slow me down. HA! I have to shop here in the desert, though. I won't do it if I'm in LA.

What stores are you brave enough to battle on Black Friday?

Ramblings + EOS...

Almost almost almost...I almost ruined my no-buy for some Hard Candy at Walmart! OMG that stuff looks amazing! I'm really trying to limit my makeup purchases. All these fab, online brands that I'm discovering are tearing into my wallet! Argh...

So I finally moved into my new apartment! =) It's right next door, but bigger than my last one. It's nice to finally have an "official" office. Now I feel I can hold parties/gnos here. My last apt was so transformed into a "work-only" area that I did NOT want people over. Michael's pretty happy, too.

EOS

I bought one of these cool lip balm spheres from EOS a while ago, and am starting to wear it down now. I really love the shape and like whipping it out - "BAM! I have an egg!" =)

I purchased Sweet Mint because I love minty balms. They're so refreshing on the lips. It does smell like a sweet mint and the sphere shape of the balm allows you to cover the entire lip area in almost one swipe. It's not tingly (which I adore) or as refreshing on the lips like Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm, but it's still very moisturizing.

Out of pure curiosity would I purchase Honeysuckle Honeydew and Summer Fruit. Summer Fruit comes in a pink sphere.

I'm baaaack + some cute stuff...

Ack, I'm so trying to find the time to blog, but I've been ridiculously busy. It's insane!!! (And making me a little insane, too.) TeeHee!

The worst part is I haven't had any time to even peek around other people's blogs. I love reading what you write.

I did want to mention that the mark. Gift Guide is almost up. It will be completely up on TUESDAY. There are some cuuuute presents to give to others or to grab for yourself.

I bet you're eyeing the new Flip For It. Here's a closer peek:

The ultimate flip for it, featuring nine shades for eyes and nine shades for lips! Shadows range from matte midnight to shimmery soft gold. Flip the palette around for six glosses and three lip colors.

Log on to lindasellsmark.com on Tuesday to order. Or feel free to jump on the site anytime you want to check out some hot products. My favorite right now is Sophistique:

Custom Greeting Cards Winners...

CONGRATS!

Jessica
These would be great for me & my family. My husband is in the Military and we are stationed completely on the other side of the country from where our family is. We are always sending cards to our loved ones for every holiday to stay in touch.

mark I-Glimmer Palette...

I hate when something I really want is limited edition. By the time I get around to it, it's out of stock or no longer for sale. Bleh!

I wanted to pick up this pretty palette from mark for such a long time, but would either forget or my cart was already packed with products. Of course, I forgot about ordering it and was no longer available by the time I hit up the mark site.

You can imagine my excitement when this baby popped up again in the clearance section for only $6! Woo-Hoo!

The color swatches are a bit mixed up, but you get it. =)

What mark says:
"Look party-perfect all through the night with these long-lasting eye shadows. Instantly highlights and brighten eyes. Each palette has five illuminating shades of our cream-to-powder formula."

I love this palette. The colors really pop and look great on my eyes. I don't use many cream shadows, but I'm so glad I bought this. You can use the lighter shades for daytime and add on the darker colors for night. Or use them as liners.

Even if you don't have a problem with regular shadows creasing, I recommend a good primer before any cream shadow.

Of course, you can buy mark at lindasellsmark.com. =)

UPDATES!

I have been on a shopping frenzy! You spend $15 here and $30 there, and don't even realize how much makeup you've purchased until you spread it on your bed and go through everything. I'm happy and upset at myself at the same time. Nevertheless, I have sooo many reviews coming up. I have some hoorahs (like VS matte blotting gel) and some boos (like elf's eye primer). Hope you come back to check those out.

So What's the Skinny?

Skincare.

It used to be all about makeup for me, until I realized I needed a good face to apply it to. I want to keep my skin looking young and purty as long as I can.

tick - tock - tick - tock

I love my mark skincare, but I love shopping and trying new products as well. (I really need to have a major blog sale.)

While browsing through my Twitter followers, I noticed someone from Shop The Skinny holding a contest. I'm so glad curiosity took over me because now I'm super-excited about The Skinny.

The site is not up yet, but The Skinny is the online destination for skincare sample sales. I enjoy shopping makeup sales from HauteLook, and I'm so glad I now have a spot to shop skincare sales! Woo-Hoo!

I signed up and can't wait for the launch.

(Yes, that is my email in the referral line. I would adore you if you kept it there.)
